About Avison Used Crop Sprayers

Gary Avison has been involved in crop spraying machinery since 1978 when he joined Spraycare in Woodhall Spa as a member of the contracting team.

In 1980 he set up his own contract crop spraying operation which is still part of his business today.

Over the years he has worked closely with Gem Sprayers of Lincoln, testing equipment in the field of contracting.

In the early 1990's he started buying and selling used crop sprayers such as Uni Mogs and MB TRACS. Over the years he has extended this and now sells a large range of Self Propelled, Demounts, Trailed and Mounted Sprayers all over the world.

Avison's are now the largest outlet in the UK for secondhand crop spraying equipment.

In 1999 Gary took over Spraycare from Brown Butlin. He oversaw development of the Spraycare range of sprayers until December 2005 when he sold that part of the business to Househam Sprayers of Leadenham, the self propelled crop sprayer manufacturer.

Gary is now concentrating on secondhand sprayers sales and works closely with new sprayer manufacturers trading second hand equipment.
